Aurora 2

This is the 2nd Aurora in a series of 5. In Aurora 2, you can't see the beauty of the clouds as they dissipate into nothingness (on the web,) but when you see it in person, you will note that each one looks as realistic as they get (at least, in my opinion.) The colors of the aurora significantly stand out, which also might not be evident, here. It was done on a 20 x 24 canvas, and all four sides are painted. Done in acrylic - $350.00 and comes with the C.O.A. as always. Varnish has been applied to protect it for years.

Power of Beauty - The Ship Destroyer

Power of Beauty - The Ship Destroyer depicts the awesome power of something so calm and serene, that it truly takes your breath away...and yet, so powerful, that it can destroy everything in it's path -- similar to any decision you make in life. The painting is for sale, as are the limited edition prints (25 - 8 x 10's and 25 - 5 x 7's.) Cost for the 20 x 24 acrylic painting on canvas board is $275.00. Nebula Cloud

A reddish/orange cloud sits just below a star that shines through the night. A mist covers it, as it breaks apart from itself. The other stars gleam outward, as they engulf the entire scene. Done on 20 x 24 acrylic. The whole thing sparkles the same way a lit up sky would, at night. What a magnificent sight to see. $275.00 and comes signed, dated and with the C.O.A. (certificate of authenticity.) Giclee prints are also available. They will be matted to prevent damage. A coat of varnish has been applied to allow the painting to last years and years.

Blue Fish

'Blue fish' started out a photo that was taken from beneath the sea, and then transformed into the glorious array of colors that you see before you digitally. It depicts what you wouldn't normally encounter, unless you were a diver -- and even then, you still might not notice. Sharks, and jelly fish abound in the ocean, and although sometimes perceived deadly, they truly are that which we seem to often miss in this world...grace and beauty, at it's finest! The 11 x 14" painting is already sold. The prints are still available, though, (25 limited editions. ex. 1/25) on photo paper. Each print will be personally signed, dated, numbered in sequence, and comes with a C.O.A.

Heavenly Bodies

A woman's body is truly beautiful. The planets are equally beautiful. In comparison, the body is as beautiful as the heavenly bodies god placed in the solar system. Hence, the name, "Heavenly bodies."

She's supposed to be a bit blurred, in case you were wondering. It represents her thoughts, which are also blurred, as she stares off into a field of blue light.

'One lone lily' sits by itself, and thus, captured through the eyes of a camera, it is the essence of love. Plastic Roses

'Plastic Roses' is a rendition of what I see, when someone, who doesn't truly love the person, gives them roses. It's plastic, such as the roses in the picture. Mountains Eve

This is an 8"x10" acrylic canvas painting, that shows the beauty of the sun's rays, as it hits the mountains, in a distant land. God's beauty is all around us... all we have to do is look, to see it. The original is still available for $45.00 on canvas board (8"x10") and done in acrylic with a seal over the painting. Limited edition prints are also available. Tibetan Splendor

This was taken from a photo of the desert in Tibet. You can see the mountains, and the waterhole, as it was depicted in the photo, in my painting. The painting will not be sold, as it was sent as a gift. There are no prints available of this one.

Truck in Motion

'Truck in Motion' is a photo of a truck, at sunrise, as it catches the glare of a light, and leaves the scene. It's been digitally transformed into what you see here. It's what I see, through my eyes, as a truck passes by, during the early morning hours. The beauty that is left behind is an array of colors that can ignite the soul, if one only looks in the right way. The prints are available for $15.00 each, and are limited editions (25 total.) Love of My Life - White Rose and Rings

A white rose is symbolic of the joining of two people in love, in the same way the wedding rings join two souls. Hence, the reason I wanted to capture this little beauty. Dolphins Jumping

Dolphins Jumping depicts the beauty in the sea. A light house peeks out over the water, barely lit, while two dolphins jump with glee over the freedom of the blue waters. This was a mural I did. It was one of the first paintings I did, since I moved to Winter Haven, Fl. I can either recreate the scene for another mural ($600.00) or I can recreate it on canvas, if you request it (any size...cost dependent on size of canvas requested.) This is a mural I did, on the wall of my daughter's bedroom. Peaceful Serenity

'Peaceful Serenity' is a piece I did on canvas (14"x18") that depicts God's magestic beauty, when the sun starts it's descent behind the mountains. It truly is a magnificent site to behold. Back to Nature

'Back to Nature' was a piece I did for a client, recently. It was a commissioned piece. The client wanted to depict the vast difference between the past and the present, and I believe I've captured just that. No prints will be available for this one, as it was requested as a present for her husband. It will remain 'one of a kind!'

"Misty Waters'

'Misty Waters' was done in two days. I think this is one of my best, so far. Originally, it was a photo, that was taken by Walter Rick photography. Rick is a true artist, when it comes to bringing something to life with a camera. With his permission, I think I captured the beauty of it, exactly as I saw it, in my painting. I used a larger canvas for this one: 18" x 24". The beams radiating from the sun were probably the most difficult part of the painting. I had to start over and over again, to get them just right. They had to be just thin enough to be able to see, and yet, still have a translucent effect, that showed the prisms of color. The fog eminates along the water, and when you look at the painting, from a distance, you can see the light from the sun, glistening, in strategic places. Each mountain shows four different color shadows, which creates a feeling that the mountains are fading out. Cost $175.00 painting.8x10" Lmt'd. Sunset Canon

'Sunset Canon' is a 14x18 painting I did, in acrylic. The sunset flows into the sky, at an angle, as does many sunsets you see. Trees sit to the left if an old canon, and some bushes to the right. A couple of flower buds sit between some rocks, and two lone mushrooms sit in the middle. The canon...an older model sits, a midst it all. The painting is for sale, still...Cost: $95.00. The prints are $20.00 each (8"x10",) on photo paper, and $15.00 (5"x7"). Each will be personally signed and dated. Each will also come with the C.O.A. Jelly Lights

'Jelly Lights' depicts the ocean's darkness, and the inability to know which way you are, sometimes, in regards to how one feels -- up or down...similar to what you would feel like, if you were deep beneath the ocean.

Cost: $175.00 No prints will be made of this one. It comes with the C.O.A. and will be signed and dated. It's done on a 20" x 24" regular canvas in acrylic, staples on the sides, and is ready for hanging. No frame needed.

It affects the children.

Wars hurt more than adults. It hurts the children. In these uncertain times, can't we, as adults think of something besides ourselves?? What about the children? Peace must remain our focus, or all children suffer. This is an acrylic on canvas. Needs no frame, as all four sides are painted. It's on a 20 x 24 canvas. No prints will be made, of this one. Ocean Leaves

'Ocean Leaves' is the epitomy of the word 'serene'. Thanks to Walter Rick for allowing me to copy his beautiful photography, once again. The painting is going for $375.00 and, I believe, truly captures the beauty of the ocean, during a sunset. The reflection from the mountains sits just below, the water line, and a couple of tree branches peek out from the sides. What a beautiful scene to wake up to, everyday. A true reminder of God's beautiful Earth. No frame needed, as all four sides are painted, and it's done on a 18 x 24 canvas. Naturally, it comes with the C.O.A. ;)

Remember

One can't forget 9-11, since it touched most people's lives. Although, many perished in this tragic incident, there are a couple of things that came out of it, that were good. First, it strongly united people, not just from the U.S., but all around the world. Second, it taught us that we have to protect ourselves better, and third, it caused many of us to see that life truly is precious. In memory of those who perished, and their families, I've created a piece to help us all recall the positive aspects of that loss.

The painting was done on a 20 x 24 canvas board, using mixed media. Each person holds hands with the next, as they glance up to the white dove and angel. Only the children notice the angel, though. A beam of light transcends down the buildings, and casts a reflection in the water and a white dove shimmers as it flies close to the top of the buildings. A lone angel sits on her cloud watching over all. $475.00 signed, with C.O.A. Prints are available in limited quantities (25).

Aurura1

The aurora borealis and the aurora australis, its counterpart in the southern hemisphere, are caused when electrons and protons ejected by the sun (the "solar wind") are captured by Earth's magnetic field. These charged particles collide with oxygen and nitrogen atoms, and the resulting ions (atoms charged by the loss or gain of electrons) emit radiation at wavelengths that create the characteristic brilliant streaks of light you might see in the sky.

The painting was done on a 20 x 24 canvas, and it was done in acrylic (along with other materials.) All four sides are painted. The stars shine around and through the aurora. Each tree and bush takes on it's own characteristic, although you can't see the details in this picture, on the web. The painting is $450.00 and will come with the C.O.A. and 25 limited edition prints will be available, too. This is the first of a series of 5 aurora paintings that will be done.
